I recently watched Captain America: Civil War and was quite impressed by the writing, particularly the miniature character arc between Sam and Bucky. I also watched Minions on Netflix, and am still laughing at the Corgi polo. I just needed to point that out. (Spoilers ahead, and I'm assuming you've seen the movie, so I'll be brief.)

It starts out with Sam (Falcon) doubting that Captain America's decision to rescue Bucky (The Winter Soldier) is a good thing, but goes along with his friend anyway. Then, the fight scene where Black Panther cuts in and they're all captured.

Next (and more importantly), the scene under the bridge where they get their gear back. In a cutaway scene, Bucky, in the back seat of their getaway car, asks Sam, who's in the front seat, if he can move his seat up. Sam, irritated, says, "No." Bucky, also mad, scoots over.

Cut back to Captain America talking with Sharon Carter. Those two talk more, then kiss. Cut back to the Sam and Bucky in the car, who are both doing the "Hell Yeah" bro nod.

Then finally, during their split-off fight sequence with Spider Man, after both of them are stuck to the floor with webbing, Sam hits a button, causing his drone to land a good hit on Spiderman. Bucky asks, "Couldn't you have done that earlier?" Sam responds, "I hate you." (I'm quoting dialogue from memory, so it might not be the most accurate.)

Anyway, these four scenes, efficiently sketch out an evolving relationship. From not knowing and distrust, to at-odds dudes forced to go on a road trip together (with a small bonding moment), to comfortable enough with each other to let the anger out (and maybe become friends). It flows within the major plot arcs, doesn't detract from the action/fight scenes/character development of the major characters, and given the small amount of screen time—particularly the fact that one of those scenes, the bro nods after the kiss, was purely a reaction shot—it's quite impressive.
